University Of Ghana (UG-Legon)
University of Ghana, popularly known as ”LEGON” is one of the Oldest Public universities in Ghana and it is located in Accra. The school was founded in 1948 as “The University College Of The Gold Coast, under the British colony. During that time the school was also an affiliate school for “University Of London”.
The university is situated on a park-like campus in Legon, which is approximately 12 kilometers from the heart of Accra, the country’s capital. Because of its good reputation, a lot of people from other countries come to study at this university, especially from the United States.
Accra Technical University College
The Accra Technical University College was establish in 1949 as a technical school. In 1957, the school was commissioned as “Accra Technical Institute” which was later upgraded by The Ghanaian Parliament to a University College.
